It’s a Penalty is a UK-registered charity (1161848) with a global impact. Our work contributes to creating a culture through education, awareness-raising and advocacy where abuse, exploitation and human trafficking are no longer acceptable. Our work consists for four core programme areas: Global Campaigns - Harnessing the power of sport to prevent abuse, exploitation and human trafficking, we campaign around major sporting events to raise awareness on a global scale, educate about the signs to look out for and equip people with ways to report. CommonProtect - Working in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, CommonProtect is our legal reform programme to improve the protection of children from sexual exploitation and abuse in the Commonwealth and end impunity of offenders. Student Ambassadors Network - Raising a community of student activists at universities to bring about a world free of human trafficking, developing their capabilities as campaigners and changemakers on human rights issues, and growing key employability skills and experience. Safe to Compete - Keeping young children safe from abuse, exploitation and trafficking as they learn to compete in youth sports by delivering a national training initiative for parents, caregivers and coaches in the USA.
