The IWMI-Tata Water Policy Research Program (ITP), launched in 2000, is a unique co-equal partnership between the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and Tata Trusts, Mumbai, India.
Working with the mandate of ‘converting science into policy action’, ITP brings together IWMI’s scientific expertise, international experience and network of partnerships with Tata Trusts’ strong field presence, a significant portfolio of development investments in natural resource management (NRM) and NRM-based rural livelihoods, and the possibility of using Trusts’ associates and implementation partners as ‘field action labs’.
