Izzy Wheels

Izzy Wheels is a multi-award-winning brand creating designer wheel covers for wheelchairs. Our motto, "If you can't stand up, stand out!" reflects our mission to empower wheelchair users to express their individuality and personality. The idea for Izzy Wheels was sparked by my younger sister, Izzy, who was born with Spina Bifida and is paralyzed from the waist down. While Izzy always viewed her wheelchair as a symbol of freedom, she felt it didn’t fully represent her vibrant, bubbly personality. In 2016, while studying design at NCAD, I created a range of removable, colorful wheel covers to match Izzy’s unique style. We filmed a video showcasing the designs, which went viral with 17 million views in just one week, propelling the business to global recognition. Today, Izzy Wheels operates in over 60 countries and has collaborated with more than 100 renowned artists and designers. We’ve received over 20 national awards, including a spot on the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and have been featured in major publications like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Forbes, Good Morning America, CBS News, TechCrunch, and Oprah Magazine. Our work has also led to exciting partnerships with iconic brands such as Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, Barbie, Microsoft, and Hello Kitty, further amplifying our message of inclusion and self-expression. At Izzy Wheels, we’re not just creating beautiful products—we’re helping to break down the stigma around disability and providing a platform for wheelchair users worldwide to celebrate their individuality.
