JAB Farm & Nursery

Operating with sustainable and regenerative practices in mind JAB Farm & Nursery seeks to change the way we look at feeding our communities. While we build out our longterm infrastructure and get fully organized here are a few of the highlights about our farm currently. We have an apiary made up of three active hives. Accompanied by native pollinators, our busy bee hives service rolling acres of berry fields, wildflower meadows and gardens. Our fields include 9 varieties of haskap berry growing alongside some raspberry, blueberry and strawberry that allow our fields to produce a seemingly endless stream of blooms that culminates in the fall when our saffron harvest takes place. This season we've also added hazelnuts to the farm with nearly 100 young orchard trees going into the fields, we can't wait for them to start producing! As well, our farm includes a greenhouse and soon a full market garden designed to provide fresh produce and nursery seedlings to our community. Our indoor grow rooms cultivate a variety of mushrooms that we produce both fresh and dehydrated. Stay tuned and follow along as we continue to expand and build out. Website coming soon!
