The Janus Forum is committed to strengthening supply chain resilience for the United States, the United Kingdom, and their commercial partners by advancing strategic infrastructure financing, securing investments in rare earth elements, critical minerals, and energy security, and diversifying trade routes across key geopolitical regions. This initiative is not a traditional think tank focused on ideological critiques. It will eschew discussions on democracy, human rights, and social policy—except where they directly impact trade, supply chains, or investment strategies. Military and defense matters will only be addressed in relation to their effects on industrial capacity and critical transit corridors. Instead, Janus will develop pragmatic, commercially viable alternatives to China’s state-backed economic model, ensuring that Western economies engage in strategic competition with tangible outcomes.
