The Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Düsseldorf (JIHK) was founded in March 1966. As the largest Japanese business association in Europe, we have been representing the interests of currently more than 500 member companies for over 50 years. The JIHK is not a chamber of foreign trade according to the German model, but an independent association with no other branches. The most important goal of the JIHK has always been to strengthen German-Japanese economic relations by supporting the business activities of our members. To this end, we provide them with business-related information in Japanese, offer seminars on legal and tax issues and provide various services in Japanese.
