Employers want to hear from you, not an overpriced "professional writer" or even AI. As an employer myself, I've reviewed 100s of applications that can use my services. Don't get passed up. I can help. I've worked in Higher Education for 20 years, preparing students for career success. I've read hundreds of resumes and job applications to know what employers are looking for. It brings me great joy to help students edit their resumes and cover letters, that I want to offer my services to the public. I'll take the time to review your current documents and even compare them to the job posting of your choice prior to our appointment. Together, we'll spend time reviewing layout and content so that your application rises to the top of the pile. I'll leave you with a summary of edits and an opportunity to review future versions. People charge $100s for services like this, but I believe in supporting people's future. My rate is $50 which covers the prep work, initial meeting and a follow up meeting (in the event you want to review your edited draft). I can also host mock interviews and give guidance on questions to ask the hiring team. Interviewing can be a stressful time and being prepared can minimize your anxiety. Provide me with a job description and I can prepare questions likely to be asked in your actual interview. This service is also $50.
