After World War II, John Hamilton became a studio photographer on the set of John Ford and John Wayne’s film The Searchers.
He also photographed my father and I on the set of Rio Lobo in
Old Tucson. Many years later, I remembered that moment and began looking for that photograph from my childhood. When we found it, we also discovered this lost archive of photography which contains nearly 800 celebrity images, but also time capsules of the era.
