GRITS is a venture studio and founder-led community empowering entrepreneurs at every stage—from the first idea to sustainable scale. The name GRITS stands for “Girls Raised In The South,” a tribute to our co-founders’ Southern roots and resilient journeys. While GRITS was born from the lived experiences of two women founders from the South, our mission is universal: to support and scale the next generation of entrepreneurs, no matter where you’re from or who you are. We don’t just build community—we build companies. As a venture studio, GRITS creates and launches original products, platforms, and content that help founders navigate entrepreneurship, particularly those with limited access to capital, networks, or legacy advantages.
