Joint Targeting School, Joint Staff J7

The Joint Targeting School (JTS) is one of three joint functional schools within The Joint Staff, J7, Joint Force Development Directorate, Joint Education and Doctrine Division. We are located on Dam Neck Naval Annex, VA within the Information Warfare Training Center-Virginia Beach (IWTC-VB). Mission: To provide doctrinally-based joint targeting education and training in order to prepare Combatant Command, Service, Inter-agency, and Allied personnel for operational-level targeting duties. The Joint Targeting School offers five courses: - Joint Targeting Staff Course - Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE) Qualification Course - Combat Assessment Course - Weaponeering Applications Course - Targeting for Partners Course. Each course is taught in residence and via mobile training teams to the Combatant Commands.
