Journal of the Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain (JoULAB)

The Journal of the Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain (or JoULAB, /d͡ʒaʊ.læb/ - or however else you'd like to pronounce it!) was founded in July 2020 as a Subcommittee of the Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain. It is the only academic journal in the world taking submissions solely from undergraduates in any area of linguistics. The Journal exists to provide a forum for the publication of exceptional undergraduate research in linguistics for students across the globe and from any background. We aim to publish two issues per twelve-month period, with each volume corresponding to the Editorial Committee that oversees its production. Every manuscript is peer-reviewed over multiple rounds by two members of the Board of Reviewers, which consists of doctoral students in linguistics from a plethora of countries and institutions.
