About Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain

Founded in 2011 by the Linguistics and English Language Society at the University of Edinburgh, the Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain (ULAB) has brought together undergraduate students from all over the UK in its annual conferences. ULAB is the only organisation in Britain whose main goal is to bring linguistics discussions to undergraduate students and provide them with the opportunity to present their work and showcase undergraduate research in language sciences. During the three days of the conference, undergraduate linguistics students from all over the United Kingdom present their research, get feedback, participate in discussions and attend various workshops. Interest in the conference has grown drastically over the past years, demonstrating that ULAB fills a gap in the levels of linguistics networks.
