JoyTherapy is a professional counseling practice with a specialized focus on migration psychology and multicultural well-being. Founded by psychologist Anna Eker – a Ukrainian-Russian living in Greece and married to a Turk – JoyTherapy was born from real-life cross-cultural experience and a passion for helping others navigate it. We support immigrants, expats, multicultural couples and cross-cultural individuals in overcoming the psychological and social challenges of relocation, identity transformation and integration. From cultural shock to relationship strain and career uncertainty, our approach acknowledges the emotional impact of these transitions and helps clients grow through them. JoyTherapy combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Gestalt and existential approaches to foster emotional resilience.
