Juremy Legal Language Tech

Juremy.com is a smart and user-friendly concordance search tool which operates over the EU's official EUR-Lex corpus and the IATE terminology database in 552 language pairs. Juremy brings fast and accurate bilingual hits from reference documents in all official EU language pairs. We developed specific, user-centered functionalities such as sorting and filtering on document metadata, and smart search categories. Juremy's database currently consists of more than 320,000 EU documents and 600,000 IATE terms - multiplied by the available language versions. The database is currently updated on a weekly basis, so the number of source documents is continuously increasing. Our goal is to make the EU-related research of legal translators and lawyers as efficient and productive as possible. Finding the correct legal and linguistic references in the EU corpus often takes up valuable time spent with looking up and comparing documents, instead of focusing on the creative part of the job. This painstaking and often repetitive work can be replaced with a single search in Juremy.com. Juremy was founded by a Hungarian couple enthusiastic for languages and user-friendly solutions: a lawyer with several years of experience as a translator for the Court of Justice of the European Union, and a software-engineer passionate about building user-centric features in search services.
