There are over 7 million registered Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) in England & Wales.
The process to create and register an LPA has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years. However, the experience in managing an LPA for the ordinary person on the street has remained stagnant.
That's why, in 2020, our Founder started the basis of what would become Ordli. The aim has been to make the management LPAs fit for the 21st Century; in essence, a digital chaperone for Attorneys who find themselves (sometimes suddenly) with a huge responsibility. The focus was on developing a proposition that would bring huge reassurance to any Attorney out there, easing the burden of their role with leading levels of transparency and usability.
So that's what the team at Ordli has created.
A lawyer-backed, yet wholly user-centric, inclusive, digital product that works for everyone who might need it; specifically Attorneys but also other family members of the Donor and trusted professionals.
Attorneys are usually just ordinary people who take on a role they have no formal training in.
