Justamere Foundation provides scholarship and supporting grants to help eliminate obstacles to a self sustaining income. Our mission is to find those programs that are not supported with traditional government or private funding.
Often the things that keep someone from their potential are a collection or small challenges that added together make the thing impossible. A $500 fee might as well be $5 million if you have no way of getting it.
We look for programs that help students find their way through these challenges and live their best life. This could be a scholarship that fills the financial gap, or a fund that provides the necessities to complete their training (i.e. boots, special uniforms, or a watch with a second hand for a nursing student).
Other programs like financial coaching, after school programs, and childhood literacy can also go a long way to preparing someone for their brightest future.
We seek out those programs that will make that kind of impact. We would love to learn about any organization that can help us do that work.
