Justice Access Point registered as a local NGO under the NGO act 2016 and authorized to undertake not for profit work in the area of peace building, atrocity prevention; countering hate speech and violent extremism ; statelessness; and rule of law and human rights in Uganda. JAP is partner of the Global Action Against Mass Atrocity Crimes (GAAMAC) and hosts the online platform on mass atrocities which is the fore runner of the proposed National Alliance Against Mass Atrocity Crimes (NAAAC) in Uganda; JAP is a member of CIVICUS and African Network for International Criminal Justice (ANICJ) and a member of Global Partnership for prevention Against Armed Conflict the GPAAC and Co-founder of the EU Human Rights Defenders Awardees Forum
