JUST PLAY is an itinerant musical documentary series that discovers emerging artists and hidden cultural treasures in the Americas. Produced by Matt Geraghty, musical producer and bassist, and Araceli Poma, producer and singer from Peru, the most recent production is an album and Latin Grammy nominated documentary called “The Warrior Women of Afro-Peruvian Music.” In 2021, Just Play has continued to focus on bringing powerful female artists together, this time on the island of Puerto Rico. This new upcoming music documentary entitled Guerreras Puertorriqueñas, captures the spirit of resilience in the face of a pandemic, natural disasters and political upheaval.
