Founded in 2018, K & B Properties works to build a business that improves and gives back the communities where they operate. This includes acquiring and renovating distressed properties that have been avoided for some time, and increasing the number of livable spaces on each property. Increasing the supply of homes in a neighborhood decreases the cost of rent. We also work directly with tenants who have a history of hardship - accepting section 8 vouchers and partnering with agencies who focus on those in need. We engage directly with these tenants - many of which have credit problems and may have even experienced homelessness - to create a positive, healthy, and forgiving living environment. In almost all long term tenant instances, K & B properties has not risen rent in the 5 years since inception. Kory and Ben have also spent years rehabilitating and building unique living spaces, such as our tiny home Airbnb rentals, so that people of all walks of life can experience some of the incredible places off the beaten path that Washington has to offer.
