KAGfreiland ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation. Seit 1972 setzen wir uns für ein gutes Leben der Nutztiere ein. Wir führen eigene Kampagnen und Tierprojekte durch und zeigen tierfreundliche Alternativen zur Massentierhaltung auf.
KAGfreiland ist zugleich das Bio-Label mit den schweizweit strengsten Tierhaltungs-Richtlinien. Mit dem KAGfreiland-Label ausgezeichnete Produkte garantieren beste Tierhaltung. Unsere Bauern und Bäuerinnen zeigen Tag für Tag, dass tierfreundliche Haltung in der Praxis funktioniert.
Was bedeutet KAG?
Das heutige 'KAGfreiland' wurde 1972 unter dem Namen KAG (Konsumenten-Arbeits-Gruppe für tier- und umweltfreundliche Nutztierhaltung) gegründet. 1999 wurde das "freiland" angehängt, um das Thema Freilandhaltung stärker zu betonen.
