KaMAZ Construction & Engineering Services (SL) Ltd is an indigenous multidisciplinary construction and engineering services company with a core of dedicated team of engineers that provide a wide array of services based and operated in Freetown with a regional office in Makeni. This includes a Consulting Department on engineering services that focus on design and supervision of reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, and surveying. We also develop a client’s concept or idea by providing structural and three - dimensional designs of the intended structure for the client’s approval.
The company is among the Premier Class of construction companies in Sierra Leone with high standard, fully equipped works yards at the head office and regional office, including metal, carpentry, steel bending and blocks yard where the production of all fabricated units take place by our experienced skilled workers under the direct supervision of expatriate in the respective fields mentioned.
We provide rental and haulage services for various types of heavy-duty construction machinery and equipment. We also provide both planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance for various civil and mechanical works. Whatever the size and nature of the maintenance we apply a consultative approach to the service we provide
Our commitment to safety is confirmed through a classified system for enhanced safety Awareness Program designed to identify possible hazards and
spelling out precautions needed for a job to be executed safely. Safety officers are employed on our works yards and sites to ensure compliance to safety working procedures and minimise hazardous working conditions for our workers. We also provide full workmen compensation through our Insurance Policy.
As far as Quality assurance standing is concerned; we can undertake “Compressive strength test”, “Tensile Strength Test” and “Air Content Test” with Fourah Bay College Civil Engineering and Soils Laboratory.
