Kemostål Process Technology is located in Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast originally founded 1945. Current leadership has been in place since 1991 with Mr Lars Klingström as Managing Director.
The two main things accomplished since then have been a higher focus on gas process machines (compressors) and a well planned profile change in beginning of the 2000’s and a well focused internationalization process of our own main know how.
Kemostål Process Technology has extensive experience of designing and implementing various types of rotating process machines for the chemical, petrochemical and offshore industry throughout the world.
Kemostål implements their own tailored solutions within rotary lobe blower and compressor packages that can fulfill the extra strict requirements of handling process gases.
We continually develop new solutions in order to satisfy our customer’s needs for efficiency, safety and durability – even during extreme operating conditions.

WIDP FPSO – Dana Petroleum – Cosco Shipyard - Hydro Carbon Blanketing & Vapour Recovery Package
The Dana Western Isles Field is located in the UK Sector of the North Sea. COSCO Shipyard has been selected to build the FPSO.
EPC contract for the Hydro Carbon Blanketing & Vapour Recovery Package.
The HC Blanketing & Vapour Recovery Package consists of 2 off 100% variable speed compressors that will compress recovered LP flare gas and cargo tank vent gas. DNV class, ASME, UK Sector installation IVB, Zone 2, Gas Group IIB, T3
KNAUF EOX40 – Air Liquide Engineering – Oxygen Compression Skid
For the project with the Oxygen plant in Tyumen, Russia, EPC contract for one 100% Oxygen Booster Skid complete with instrumentation under GOST-R including commissioning.
FPSO Okha – Woodside Energy – SBM - Vapor Recovery Units modules.
VRU 1x100% unit in operation and 1x100% unit in stand-by. EPC +commissioning. Atex Zone I, ASME, ABS.
