Ken Gibb Limited has been in business for over 60 years. In 1953, Kenyon Leroy Gibb opened up a real estate brokerage, Ken Gibb Limited. His clients would ask him where they could purchase property insurance whenever they purchased a property through him. In 1957, Ken decided to get his insurance broker’s license, so that his company would be a one stop shop for purchasing properties and insurance.
Over the years, Ken expanded his clientele, not only servicing those in the Etobicoke area, but all across Canada. In 2000, Janice McGuire, his daughter, became the Principal Broker of the brokerage and worked alongside Ken. Janice learned the ins and outs of her father’s business, and is now able to take that knowledge along with her own and continue to build the company her dad first started.
