Kiambu National Polytechnic (KINAP) formerly known as Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology – KIST, is a national Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Polytechnic established in 1973 and is mandated and fully accredited by the Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA), Ministry of Education to provide training in TVET in various courses at Diploma, Craft and Artisan Certificate levels. The Polytechnic is located along Kiambu Road 14km from Nairobi CBD.
