Kimuli Collections Ltd is a Ugandan inclusive Eco-fashion label that transforms the plastic waste crisis in Africa into sustainable products, creating employment opportunities for the people living with disabilities as creative tailors and youths as waste collectors with an intention of curbing the waste crisis and changing the dumping behavior in Africa through.
Kimuli Collections was formerly known as Kimuli Fashionability before the company rebranding.
We organized the first-ever INCULSIVE and SUSTAIBALE fashion show with a total attendance of 800 people from [3] countries. The show attracted international viewership through coverage from media houses such as CNN.
This exposure has led to signing of supply contracts with 7 international fashion houses, this has led to the upcycling of over 50,000 Kgs of plastic waste which haven tuned into upcycled garments and accessories.
We created direct employment to over (86) trained disabled tailors who are capable to fend for their families for example Nakabaka a single mother, physically impaired with 5 children living in a temporally house, which she was able to renovate and she self-sustainable now, trained and employed 200 marginalized youth as waste collectors.
We are currently open to support through Investment, Donations and Mutual Partnerships in Climate change advocating, Plastic waste eradication and Empowerment of People living with Disabilities.
