Kinderkankerfonds is a non-profit organisation based in Gent, Belgium.
The foundation supports children with cancer and their families by supporting hospitals with extra staff, direct financial support to families, a home nursing organisation "KOESTER", day care for brothers and sisters of patients in the hospital, research on specific techniques, drugs or treatments, and many other direct and indirect initiatives.
Since it was founded 35 years ago, vzw Kinderkankerfonds has grown from a family initiative to the most significant organisation in Belgium caring for children with cancer. During these years, vzw Kinderkankerfonds has already invested over 28 million euros in various projects, thanks to many donations, legacies and actions from families.
