The mission of Kinderpedia is to use digital tools to transform education, by optimizing the administrative processes and placing parent-teacher-student collaboration right at the core of the learning act. Our platform makes the transition towards intelligent, connected education based on permanent collaboration and real-time communication between students, teachers and parents. Kinderpedia saves time by reducing paperwork and redundant processes in the kindergartens and thus enables users to channel their efforts and resources where they really matter: towards the education of children and the huge progress they can achieve every day. Kinderpedia has received numerous international and local recognitions for its contribution to the transformation of education. The platform obtained first place at the Innovators for Children accelerator, organized by Impact Hub Bucharest with the support of the Botnar Foundation and placed third at Startarium, the most popular entrepreneurial competition in Romania. Kinderpedia has been recognized as a social impact business at the EAIS in Brussels and has obtained a Seal of Excellence from the European Commission. For the innovative nature of the solution and for the impact it brings to education, Kinderpedia received the title Innovator of the Year at the Business Review Awards Gala and was listed by Business Magazin in the catalogue dedicated to the most innovative companies in Romania. Kinderpedia is a cloud-based, multi-language and multi-currency platform, securely hosted on Amazon Web Servers, which works as a native app on Android and iOS and is also accessible from any browser. Kinderpedia modules include: child and family management, group management, staff management, remote video teaching, gradebook, daily attendance, homework, activities schedule, event calendar, weekly menu, QR code based check-in, timeline daily and reporting, individual observations for each activity, multimedia gallery, automated billing etc.
