KiTEC is a multidisciplinary health technology assessment team and part of the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering. We collaborate with other departments at KCL and the Medical Physics Department of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) and have recently become a member of the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Sciences based at GSTT. We have expertise in health technology assessment (HTA), with a particular interest in novel medical devices. Activities include sourcing, evaluating and analysing clinical and health economic evidence relating to new devices and techniques; collection and analysis of data and horizon scanning.
