KNOT

A knot is made by folding a string and tying it on itself. A line. A plane. A space. The transformation is simple - determined on the material of the substance but more so on the way of how its folded to serve the purpose it is tied for. This creates a space in a void through the act of folding. KNOT is an endeavor that aspires to create a language for the maneuvering the void. To give shape to the ceaseless opportunity that surrounds us to create space. KNOT is an attempt to make from the ordinary - something meaningful. A metaphor for the complexities of the relationship between time & space in the human experience and the role we, as designers, can play in forging it to create meaning.
