KDC North West (Charity Reg no: 1103477) has been supporting local people who face challenges by reason of their disability for more than 40 years.
Originally established in 1979 as a service for adults with learning disabilities KDC North West has developed and evolved into a modern, forward-thinking charity specialising in delivering services to support local people to live independent lives in the community through access to education and learning activities.
Our Vision is to see communities where all people are included, live independently and are valued as equal citizens
Our Mission is to provide high quality, innovative services that support disabled people to exercise their rights, choice, control and achieve independence.
To better reflect our organisational geographical reach, a resolution was passed to change the charity name to KDC North West (formerly Knowsley Disability Concern), this was finalised on 12 December 2024 with Companies House and the Charity Commission.
