OUR STORY
Know Yourself was created when our 4 year-old-daughter came running to us as she discovered a thumping in her chest. She had discovered her heartbeat. When we explained that it was her heartbeat, it opened an unending stream of questions about her body, what it is made of and how it works. As we searched for materials to help her budding curiosity about her body, we just couldn’t find it. From here, Know Yourself was born and it continued to transform into the company we are today.
Since 2013, we have continued to grow, and have been teaching children about their most important possession - themselves: their bodies, minds and the inextricable and wondrous connection between the two. In doing so children are led to a path of self-literacy and self-worth.
