The KNVM aims to promote the knowledge of and interest in microbiology in The Netherlands and Flanders. The society has 11 divisions in various microbiological disciplines. To endorse dissemination of advances in microbiology, scientific meetings are organized by divisions individually as well as shared during the KNVM/NVMM annual spring meeting. Our society now has over 1500 members, which, amongst others, benefit from discounts for attending the annual spring meeting.
