Kolkata Study Circle Foundation

The Kolkata Study Circle Foundation (KSCF) is a non-profit organization that is open to all social researchers either qualified in or else working in India. The objective of the organization is to promote social research which would aid the poorest of the poor. The field of research includes topics from ethnography, ethnology, archaeology, linguistics and genetics. The organization also organizes annual conferences for the members of the KSCF in Kolkata, West Bengal. The KSCF seeks to add to the notion of better understanding our society, and to ensure a sustainable future which can be only done through realizing the current situations and improving them gradually.
