In September 2021 Kong Dog opened its first location in Glenview, Illinois, and was well received. Through word of mouth, people soon began lining up out the door to sample these new and exciting Hot Dogs. In December, the first franchise location opened on Taylor Street, near the University of Illinois, Chicago, to rave reviews! Crowds were flocking and Kong Dog was making a name for itself! Today, Kong Dog currently has almost 30 franchises, and more to come soon!
