Lakshitha

Lakshitha (a registered NGO under the Indian Truct Act) focusses on 2 major domains: 1) Education: Supports the education (fees, books, stationery etc) of students from financially weaker section to provide them with equal opportunities. Currently supports the education of ~50 students across India. 6 students supported by us are currently employed and by 2025 we aim to support the education of 100 students. 2) Health: Provides medicines, ration, sanitary pads to rural households and partners with organizations to provide relief during natural calamities. During its journey of 2 decades of service to the Society, it touched upon the lives of more than 25000 under privileged persons of the Society. The programs of the Trust have also made a difference to the lives of differently abled persons. During COVID 19 pandemic, Lakshitha has carried out various relief measures and distributed material costing more than Rs.2.50 lakh. Recognizing the efforts put in by Lakshitha for going beyond in providing relief from COVID-19 to citizen in 2020-21, Government of Telangana has conferred “Certificate of Appreciation” as a part of T-SIG COVID-19 Warriors Recognition.
