Lapis Urbe was founded in 2013 as an artisanal company specializing in the processing and trade of Roman Travertine— the only one from the historical quarries of Tivoli and Guidonia in Rome. In 2015, thanks to the know how of its team of professionals known in the Tivoli extraction region, for their technical and commercial expertise, Lapis URbe launched a new industrial project aimed at expanding into both the national and international markets, strengthening not just production but also extraction, and boosting sales of Travertine in blocks, slabs, and finished products. With over 30 years of experience in the stone industry and strong entrepreneurial know-how, Lapis Urbe now meets market demand efficiently and with exceptional results, relying on cutting-edge technology and skilled labor. Advanced computerized machinery and automated production lines have significantly enhanced both the quality and quantity of production.
