Lasting Support

Lasting Support was born from a shared vision: to create the kind of support we all needed growing up. While our founder’s personal journey sparked the initiative, it has grown into a collective of professionals youth workers, social workers, creatives, wellness experts, and clinical psychotherapists - united by lived experience and a deep-rooted commitment to the communities we serve. We are a hybrid non-profit organisation working at the intersection of trauma recovery, safeguarding, and systemic change. Through training, mentoring, and consultancy, we equip frontline professionals, local authorities, and organisations with the tools and knowledge to better support vulnerable children, especially those with experience of care, exploitation, or adversity. Our work bridges direct service delivery with long-term change. We deliver community-based interventions, culturally competent therapies, and innovative programmes like Building Bridges and Sporting Souls, helping young people feel seen, safe, and supported. We are also developing exemplary semi-independent homes and therapeutic support lines to address gaps in the care system and influence policy from the ground up. At our core, we believe in care that is consistent, culturally aware, and led with compassion. Building safer, stronger futures-together.
