Laundry Capital, with its affiliated companies, is the largest operator of retail Laundromats in the United States, including 40 locations in the outer boroughs of New York City and 30+ more locations across seven other states. It is the parent to Clean Rite Centers and Laundromax. Laundry Capital was founded in New York City in 1996 and has since developed or acquired over 200 laundromats. Laundry Capital pioneered the Laundromat “super store” concept by building large, bright, free standing stores (Clean Rite Centers), equipped with over 120 washers and dryers, ample folding tables, free parking, knowledgeable and qualified staff and more. In addition to self-serve washers and dryers, Clean Rite Centers/Laundromax offer professional drop off wash-dry-fold service in all markets. The company is headquartered in Rego Park, NY.
