Le Requin Rose

Le Requin Rose was created in 2022 with the help of my friends wanting to build a bridge between theory and Gen Z’s pop culture. Thus, Kim Kardashian becomes a Dadaist icon, Bella Hadid’s NFT converses with Donna Haraway, and the 2013 moustache becomes a Roland Barthes-style mythology. Each issue of this quarterly journal is devoted to a specific theme, while still cultivating a freedom of interpretation and genre. Travelling between the essay and the interview, the poem and the grandmother’s recipe, illustration and photography, Le Requin Rose is the quintessence of a generation for which irony blends with knowledge and creativity.
