LEAD Network Italy Chapter

LEAD Network is a non-profit and volunteer-led organization committed to attracting, retaining and advancing women in the Consumer Goods and Retail sector in Europe, announces the official launch of the Italy Chapter. Following the launch of the Ireland Chapter in November 2023, this is the organization’s 16th Chapter and marks a significant step in LEAD Network’s journey towards gender equality in the sector, which will now involve 11 leading businesses in Italy. Founded in 2014, LEAD Network has grown to more than 19,000 members, 11 national chapters, and 4 functional chapters, with over 200 manufacturers and 100 retailers. The organisation provides networking opportunities, mentoring, training events and research resources to support women's careers and foster the creation of inclusive work environments. LEAD Network offers partner companies access to a broad network of professionals committed to diversity, strategic support in defining D&I policies, specific training for employees and managers, and visibility as promoters of inclusion. LEAD Network’s Italy Chapter committee involves representatives from across the industry working together including Amazon, Barilla Group, Birra Peroni, Campari Group, Chep, GXO, IBM, McCormick, Mondelez International, Reckitt and SC Johnson. The Italy Chapter is co-chaired by Martina De Brida (McCormick) and Gianluca Di Gioia (Birra Peroni).
