Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO and author of Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, is on a mission to unleash female ambition so that more women are in decision-making roles and having a profound impact on issues. Sandberg calls this “leaning in.” Group members come together to listen, support, cajole, hold each other accountable and back each other well.We encourage you to both “lean in” toward your own ambitions and to support women leaders. Lean In supports women in 3 important ways: Community We want all women to have the confidence and know-how to achieve their goals. This starts with an active and supportive community. Education We strive to share resources, experiences, and talents to further the mission of helping women build confidence and leadership skills and "lean in" toward their goals. Circles Lean In Circles are small groups that meet monthly to encourage and support each other in an atmosphere of confidentiality and trust. If we talk openly about the challenges women face and work together, we can change the trajectory of women and create a better world for all of us.
