LeanIn Circle for Women In Financial Planning

LeanIn Women in Financial Planning (WIFP) was founded in November 2020 by Amanda John FSA™ and Didintle Mokonoto CFP® and is a registered NPO (2022/274418/08). The establishing of the organization was birthed out of a desire to bring together women who had similar experiences, and challenges in the financial planning industry, to collectively find solutions to these challenges and learn from each other in order to become the best versions of themselves. The first cohort (Cohort 1 which is made up of 14 ladies) was launched at the start of 2021 and we have had monthly engagements. Due to the interest received, especially on LinkedIn, we decided to on-board our second cohort (cohort 2) who joined us for the first time at the face-to-face women’s engagement which was hosted beginning of September 2021. Cohort 2 had 20 ladies who had shown interest, and we continue to on-board members with our first regional cohort planned to be onboarded at the end of 2022.
