Learn Grow Lead (LGL) was founded in 2018 by Blake Wood to provide an opportunity for high school students to pursue volunteer activities in their community.
Specifically, the organization focuses on aiding in the development of key life skills in local youth through team-building activities and events. In providing local underprivileged youth an outlet for their creativity and independence, LGL hopes to promote self-confidence, leadership, and respect among children; qualities we believe are crucial to future success.
The organization was also created with the intention to provide an eye opening experience for young high school students and leaders; while the officers and members of this organization have been selected for their ability to lead and collaborate well with others, this opportunity for mentorship and involvement is also meant to enhance their positive qualities through real world experiences.
