We have worked with historical societies, archives, and museums to bring you the highest quality resources. We now represent over ½ a million images including the Arts, Cinema, History, Politics, Sciences, and Wildlife. With a dedication to high-quality images and full descriptive metadata, Learning Pictures excelled in bringing images together from multiple sources to one space for ease of accessibility and research for textbook publishers. Closing its doors in 2015; Learning Pictures impact on the industry can still be felt in its creation of education filtering systems, metadata embedded images, and its large role in the creation of Encyclopaedia Britannica Image Quest subscription system.
