Leitrim Public Participation Network (PPN) is an independent network of community, voluntary, social inclusion and environmental organisations, working to build a better county for the community of Leitrim. The PPN is managed by a voluntary Secretariat which reports to PPN members through the Plenary.
Leitrim PPN has almost 400 member groups and includes community-based groups, organisations, associations, clubs, societies and charities.
As a PPN, we provide space for community groups to grow and develop through our training supports. We also act as an information hub, keeping the community informed of relevant local issues, news, events, resources and supports. We do this through a forthnightly e-newsletter and the maintenance of our website and social media pages.
Leitrim PPN is funded by the Department of Rural & Community Development and Leitrim County Council and hosted by Leitrim Development Company in Drumshanbo.
