LGMD-1D DNAJB6 Foundation and Registry

The foundation and its social media aspects provide a central location for people with limb girdle muscular dystrophy 1D (LGMD1D) to establish a functioning community. Our goals include registration of members, share news and events, fundraising to advance research and cures and financial assistance to those affected members involved in ongoing research. Genetic and molecular research in orphan diseases like LGMD1D are exploding and the techniques that are developed to cure one can often be shared with others. The future of curing very prevalent mono genetic disorders starts by tackling what is in front of you.
