Originally founded to assist Russian Exchange Scholars facing critical challenges, our mission has expanded to foster the professional and personal growth of Russian change-makers. We stand by those driven to advance democratic values and rebuild a future for Russia that is free, fair, and resilient. Our Work: Advocacy & Awareness We actively work to protect emerging Russian leaders from political persecution, providing them with the resources and networks to voice their commitment to democratic change safely. Support Network Liberty Forward creates a secure community for at-risk leaders, offering essential resources, connections, and mentorship to help them thrive amid challenges to their freedom and stability. Policy Action We advocate for policy reforms that protect Russian leaders facing political retribution, including waivers for restrictive residency requirements, ensuring their safety and right to asylum. Academic Collaborations Through partnerships with academic institutions and global organizations, we aim to establish safe, educational pathways for Russian leaders, enabling them to advance their academic and advocacy goals without fear. Mentorship & Leadership Empowerment We mentor emerging Russian leaders to provide them with the skills and confidence to lead impactful initiatives that uphold democratic ideals.
