Limuless is developing a drop-in, recombinant substitute for the Limulus Amoebocyte Lysate (LAL) assay, which will supply the pharmaceutical industry with the necessary tools to sustainably safeguard humanity’s supply of medicines from bacterial contamination. By removing the horseshoe crab from the LAL production cycle, we will provide a superior product at lower cost, enhance pyrogen testing capabilities for traditional users and open the way for bulk endotoxin testing in several brand-new industries, including healthcare, food service, aerospace, and defense.
