Link Age Southwark is a vibrant local charity providing friendly volunteer support to over 600 isolated, older people in Southwark.
We help older people stay connected to their communities, alleviating loneliness, improving health and wellbeing and making communities stronger through volunteering. We have a fantastic team of over 450 volunteers across the borough. All our services are free to over-60s living in Southwark.
Our services include:
- One-to-one befriending visits
- Social, exercise and activity groups
- Dementia services including befriending and groups
- Volunteer transport
- Practical support including light gardening and DIY
- Intergenerational work with local schools
