The company was founded in December 1967 by Alfredo Henrique Pinto with headquarters in downtown Lisbon, on the emblematic Rua de Santa Justa, dedicated to the sale of clothing resale items followed by home textiles for retail sale.
From its headquarters it witnessed great moments in the history of Lisbon: the 25th of April, it survived the Great Fire of Chiado and witnessed the transformation of Baixa into what it is today: an illustrated postcard for everyone who visits us.
Over the years and the consequent change in the market, it began to focus on the supply of textiles for hotels, which is currently its main line of business.
In 2023 it launches into online retail with its own brand, Marshmellow Fabrics (www.marshmellowfabrics.com), which aims to bring the comfort of textiles produced in Portugal throughout Europe.
